In order to ensure that healthy weight is being gained, incorporating proper nutrition into your diet is essential. This should include eating a healthy balance of grains, dairy, protein, fruits/vegetables and good fats. Avoid junk foods that are high in sugar and bad fats, as they will cause weight gain without really benefiting the fetus. Of course, not all diet requirements will be the same across the board, and it is important to listen to your own body’s preferences.
